The Church of the Salvation Army is a lot like any other church.  We have confessions of faith, pastors, members, public worshipping and singing.  But our church is unique in its own way.
Perhaps it is due to our continuous efforts to reach the general public (the non church go-ers)
with the message of God's love.

We have more than seventy regional Corps churches where everyone is warmly welcomed.
We hold our services each Sunday.  Here, everyone is given the chance to postulate the meaning
of existence, to meet others and to find inner-peace.  Our Church services are known for their enthusiastic singing and practical approaches in examining the Bible.

We also discuss various values and standards of course.  On a daily basis, people express their opinions on morality by using the same terms which we discuss in our services.

As a Christian organization which is involved in the whole community, we constantly struggle between debatable subjects that are unclear as to whether they are good or bad.  These values
and standards would help give a sense of direction and guidance.  We, therefore, resort to the
Bible as a source of inspiration.

We do not believe in dictating anyone's point of view.  We also do not want to give the impression that our knowledge exceeds other people's knowledge.  "Knowing things better than others" has caused enough pain in the past, not to mention it has excluded an infinite amount of people.  Our goal is to begin a dialogue about all that is valuable and good.

You'll find a lot more to our Christian community than just our Sunday Services.   It is implied
among us that 'word and deed go hand-in-hand.'

Various different forms of theological work are examples of this.   Inspired by axioms and ethics
that together build our faith, we strive to make a difference for other individuals.
